Collection of Personal Information
The types of personal information we collect will depend on what services are used. We will only collect personal information that is necessary for one or more of our functions and activites. - transcription and typing services
- maintaining transcribed documents on a secure server for those customers who have subscribed to such a system
- maintaining a customer information database, which excludes personal details such as date of birth, sex, medical, financial and confidential business circumstances and history for a period of time as determined by us.
We may use the information we collect to keep you up to date with changes to our website and to inform you about new products and services you might find worthwhile. If at anytime you do not want this information from us then please notify us and we will stop such communications.
We will provide access to personal information to contractors such as software suppliers, IT consultants and our transcriptionists who provide us with transcription and related services. Contractors to which we provide personal identity, financial and medical information will only use it for the purposes for which it is collected or otherwise as permitted by law.
All of our staff and contractors have signed agreements which cover disclosure, secrecy, reproduction of information and requirements on termination of employment. However, we will not be responsible for events arising from unauthorised access to your personal information.

We do not print or store paper based client information in our office. We use dictation and transcription software systems that have SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology with 128 bit encryption. We limit the distribution of personal information so that Subcontractors are only allowed access to audio files allocated to them for the proper completion of transcription services. We do not send any audio or transcribed documentation via email.
However, it is important to understand that these precautions apply only to our Site and systems. We exercise no control over how your information is stored, maintained or displayed by third parties or on third-party sites.
